Traditional and old fashioned songs, dances and tunes in mid-Kent

JOE WATERS AT THE CASTLE INN, TUNES WORKSHOPS AND SESSION, TENTERDEN FF, AND NOVEMBER DANCE DATE

  • Our pal Joe is our guest at the Castle Inn, Brenchley session at 8pm on Sunday the 29th. Please come along for songs, tunes and a bit of a laugh.
  • The next tunes workshop is scheduled for 8pm on Tuesday the 1st October. Two tunes will be up shortly on the workshops page at Singdanceandplay.net – see the workshops page for info
  • At Tenterden Folk Festival Julie and I will be running a session at the White Lion on Sunday lunchtime  (6th October) from 12noon-2.30pm. Please come and swell the sound! 
  • Also at Tenterden, as usual I’ll be running a tunes workshop at the Glebe from 10.30-12.30am on the Saturday (5th October)
  • The next tunes session is at 8pm on Sunday the 6th October, at the Gun and Spitroast, Horsmonden
  • The November workshop barndance is at Brenchley Memorial Hall on the 23rd November – please put it in your diary, bring your friends and tell as many people as you can – it’s a smashing, informal evening
