I’ve been asked to tell people about a remarkable gig at Frittenden with Irish singer Rioghnach Connolly on Saturday 18th January at 8pm. (I believe it’s pronounced ‘ree-err-nahh’, btw.)
Originally from Armagh, Rioghnach was voted BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year in 2020 – we don’t see many singers round here with that kind of accolade!
Here’s a link to her singing, which sounds pretty spectacular to me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3af0T7FQCS8
Tickets are available from the Bell & Jorrocks pub or www.frittendenevents.co.uk .
